Q: What is your background in Big Data for HealthCare?
JH: For 22 years, I’ve overseen all the data of a $2.5 billion dollar healthcare system. For 11 years, I oversaw all the data of Harvard Medical School.
Q: What is the subject of your talk?
JH: The Next Wave for Digital Health – What’s happening around the world.
Q: How do you see the future of Big Data for HealthCare?
JH: I’ll focus on machine learning, internet of things, cloud services, tele care and mobile/APIs.
Q: What do you predict will be the 3 key developments in Big Data for HealthCare in the next 5 years?
JH: In 5 years, we’ll have Facebook implants and flying cars, so probably better to ask about the next 18 months. The most significant developments will be in the area of machine learning, which will become ubiquitous.
Q: Who do you consider benefits most from Big Data for HealthCare?
JH: There are too many stakeholders to name – including patients, providers, payers, Pharma, and public health.
